Critical Infrastructure

R&S®QPS 201

The R&S®QPS201 security scanner delivers high-precision and efficient security control while ensuring an unobtrusive and uncomplicated experience for scanned persons. It consists of a flat panel with thousands of transmitter antennas that emit extremely low-power millimeter waves in very short succession and just as many receiver antennas. Persons being scanned stand squarely between the panels as if facing a mirror, holding their arms slightly away from their bodies. - Low processing time for highest throughput - Open architecture - Easy-to-hold body posture with hands down

R&S®ARDRONIS-P

R&S®ARDRONIS compares measured RC drone signals with an extensive library of drone profiles. This "monitor and match" process provides reliable early warning of any threats in the coverage area. The R&S®ARDRONIS direction finding (DF) ability delivers two critical parameters: the direction of the operator (RC signal DF) and the direction of the drone itself (telemetry or video downlink signal DF). R&S®ARDRONIS provides a range of functions for triggering effective countermeasures. The integrated jammer disrupts the targeted drones with minimum disturbance to other signals in the same frequency band. - Early warning of drone activity - Accurate classification of drone type - Threat notification to predefined persons/teams - Localization of drones and their pilots - Disruption of RC links

R&S®DDF200M

Accurate radio direction finding for vessel traffic systems Parallel direction finding on up to 32 maritime channels with high accuracy The R&S°DDF200M digital direction finder delivers the DF results used in vessel traffic control systems. Its high system DF accuracy is in line with IALA recommendations. The optional adaptive interference cancellation allows maritime radiocommunications antennas to be installed on the same mast as the DF antenna. - Parallel direction finding on up to 32 maritime frequency channels - Frequency range from 118 MHz to 250 MHz (with R&S®ADD090) - Frequency range from 118 MHz to 450 MHz (with R&S®ADD095) - Adaptive interference cancellation as option (with R&S®ADD090) - Serial interface compatible with R&S®DDF100M (option)

R&S®ATC Direction Finding Systems

Pilots and air traffic controllers must have reliable radio equipment. Any failure or any interference can lead to serious consequences. Therefore radiomonitoring authorities pay special attention to the frequency band to be protected. As a world-leading manufacturer of radiomonitoring equipment, Rohde & Schwarz markets numerous devices and systems for monitoring radio traffic and identifying and locating interference sources. Equipment and systems for troubleshooting Radio equipment is the key component in an air traffic control system and has to operate reliably 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a system planner and integrator, Rohde & Schwarz takes every step to exclude system malfunctions as far as possible and builds redundant components into its systems to render faults harmless if they do occur. Failures or malfunctions of third-party equipment, however, are impossible to preclude or prevent. When they happen, they need to be dealt with swiftly and effectively, and this calls for a precise understanding of the nature and origin of the fault. The Rohde & Schwarz portfolio of radiomonitoring and direction finding equipment provides comprehensive and reliable tools for gathering the necessary information.

R&S®Radiomonitoring and Radiolocation

Rohde & Schwarz provides a wide range of signal intelligence, electronic warfare and spectrum monitoring solutions. Standalone products as well as turnkey systems support numerous tasks, from signal detection and analysis to evaluation of emitter geolocation and many other vital measurements. The company’s radiomonitoring receivers, direction finders, signal analyzers, antennas, software and customized systems have made Rohde & Schwarz a reliable partner to its customers for decades. Radiomonitoring applications include sovereign spectrum management by regulatory authorities and technical monitoring of radio networks by their operators as well as securing critical infrastructures such as power plants and also radiomonitoring to ensure homeland and external security.

R&S®Border & Perimeter Surveillance

Border surveillance - Governments usually give border security high priority. The diverse nature of border defense is matched by an equally diverse array of threats ranging from terrorists to drug smugglers, arms dealers and human traffickers. Conventionally borders are monitored and protected by using traditional measures such as mobile patrol units, video cameras and physical barriers. Due to the increasing number of unlawful cross-border activities and criminal organizations today, additional systems for monitoring wireless communications have become necessary. Offshore & maritime patrol - Detecting and locating illegal acts on sea is a challenge that remains also with modern coastal radar. Airborne communications surveillance systems can significantly contribute evidence what is out there. By monitoring radio links, operators in an aircraft can acquire fundamental information about situations along a borderline and thus support operations of the authorities.
